Our improved Side Impact Cushion Technology (SICT) minimises the force of an impact in a side collision, and the Soft-Latch ISOFIX installation connects the seat direct to the car. Suitable from 9 kg to 36 kg
The EVOLVA 1-2-3 SL SICT grows with your child as it can be used for children from 9 kg to 36 kg. This makes it the only car seat you’ll need after an infant carrier. As your little one grows, you can easily switch from the integral harness (up to 18 kg) to using the car’s 3-point seat belt (up to 36 kg) to secure the child in the seat.

Flexible usage in most cars

This is very easy to do with the EVOLVA 1-2-3 SL SICT as it is lightweight and can be safely installed in most cars, either with ISOFIX and a 3-point seat belt, or with the 3-point seat belt alone. Quick-remove cover
Things can get pretty messy on the road. Drinks can spill and children can get car sick. That’s why we designed a machine washable seat cover that can easily be taken off without removing the harness, so you can clean up quick and get on your way.

Advanced Side Impact Protection – SICT
Our SICT offers superior protection to your child in the event of a side collision. It reduces impact forces by minimising the distance between the car and the car seat and deforms to absorb the energy before it reaches your little one. To benefit from the protection, simply adjust the SICT on the side of the car seat closest to the door.


CLICK & SAFE® audible harness system
We know it can be difficult to find the correct balance between too tight and too loose when securing a child in a harness, so we have developed CLICK & SAFE® the system that lets parents know when the child is harnessed correctly. When pulling the harness adjuster strap you´ll hear an audible click when your child is harnessed to the correct tension.


Highback booster protection
Our highback boosters protect your child in 3 ways: the seat shell provides head to hip protection for your child, especially in the event of a side impact; the upper and lower belt guides provide correct positioning of the seat belt; and the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your child’s head and neck.

Performance Chest Pads
Our performance chest pads provide comfort and reduce your child’s forward movement in a frontal collision with extra care and attention to the child’s delicate neck. They also help spread the forces from a frontal impact more evenly across your child’s shoulders and chest.

Recline position for all ages
The recline position provides a comfortable sleeping position for your child. Simply adjust the seat before fitting it in your car.

Easy adjustable headrest
Our easy-to-adjust headrest was designed especially for older children, when using the 3-point seat belt to secure them in the car seat. The headrest can easily be adjusted to the correct position, just above the child’s shoulders, with one hand – even while the child is sitting in the seat.

5-point harness
We believe a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the forces of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact.

Belted with ISOFIX attachment
This child car seat has to be installed using the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt as well as the ISOFIX anchorage points in your car. This ensures a firm and secure connection between the child car seat and car, even when your child is not sitting in it. EVOLVA 1-2-3 SL SICT features integrated soft-latch connectors that enable you to easily attach one connector to the ISOFIX anchorage point in your car and then the other making installation easier, particularly in cars where the ISOFIX anchorage points are difficult to reach. After attaching both connectors pull the adjuster straps on both sides to tighten the ISOFIX attachment installation. The soft-latch connectors must always be used in addition to the car´s 3-point seat belt to offer superior performance in the event of an accident. Never use soft-latch connectors without the additional security of the car´s 3-point seat belt. Belted
This child car seat can be installed with the car´s 3-point seat belt. This option is handy if you will be transferring the car seat to different cars which may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. Seat belt guides on the car seat will help you install the seat correctly. Check the vehicle owner´s manual for suitable seating positions and ask your local retailer for a test installation in your car (please ask for a member of staff trained by Britax Römer), before you buy the car seat.
