Complete flexibility
Lightweight and suitable for installation with a seat belt or ISOFIX, DUO PLUS is a versatile solution for anyone who needs to move their child seat regularly between cars. Thanks to the universal approval, DUO PLUS can be installed in most cars with the 3-point seat belt or ISOFIX and Top Tether (available separately). Plus, in some specific car models, which can be found in our vehicle list, you are also allowed to install it with ISOFIX only. DUO PLUS gives you the flexibility you need while keeping your child safe. And for additional protection, when installed with ISOFIX, the patented Pivot Link system reduces forward movement of the seat and the risk of injury to your child.

Removable cover
Things can get messy in the car - drinks can spill and children can get car sick. That’s why we’ve designed a machine washable seat cover that can easily be removed, so you can clean up quick and get on your way.

The Britax Römer Pivot Link ISOFIX System
In case of an impact, our patented Pivot Link ISOFIX System directs the force first downward (1), into the vehicle seat, and then forward (2), more gently – greatly reducing the risk of head and neck injury for your child.

Deep, protective side wings
Our soft, padded side wings act as a protective cocoon that helps to absorb the force from a side impact, reducing the risk of injuries to your child.

5-point harness
We believe a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the forces of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact.

Performance Chest Pads
Our performance chest pads provide comfort and reduce your child’s forward movement in a frontal collision with extra care and attention to the child’s delicate neck. They also help spread the forces from a frontal impact more evenly across your child’s shoulders and chest.

Multi-recline positions
Keeping your child comfortable while travelling is a must. That’s why this seat was designed with three recline positions that you can adjust with ease – offering a stress-free journey with a happy child.

Belted
This child car seat can be installed with the car´s 3-point seat belt. This option is handy if you will be transferring the car seat to different cars which may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. Seat belt guides on the car seat will help you install the seat correctly. Check the vehicle owner´s manual for suitable seating positions and ask your local retailer for a test installation in your car (please ask for a member of staff trained by Britax Römer), before you buy the car seat.

ISOFIX with Top Tether (available separately)
This child car seat needs to be attached to the ISOFIX anchorage points of your vehicle. ISOFIX is a standard system of connection points featured in almost all cars. This establishes a secure and firm connection between the child’s car seat and the car. DUO PLUS specific requirements – a safe installation is completed with the use of Top Tether to allow optimum stability. Check the vehicle owner´s manual to locate ISOFIX and Top Tether anchorage points in your car and ask your local retailer for a test installation in your car (please ask for a member of staff trained by Britax Römer), before you buy the car seat.

This establishes a secure and firm connection between the child’s car seat and the car. You are allowed to install DUO PLUS in certain cars with ISOFIX only.
