This modular base is compatible with the BABY-SAFE iSENSE and BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE infant carriers, as well as the DUALFIX iSENSE car seat. This angle-adjustable base allows the seat to be turned towards the open car door to make it quicker and easier to position and fasten the child. Additionally, the DUALFIX iSENSE can be turned 360º, so that, allowing forward-facing travel when your child exceeds 15 months and 76 cm, if desired.

Modular comfort:

This modular base accompanies your little one from the first ride home up until four years old, as it fits both the BABY-SAFE iSENSE and BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE infant carriers, suitable from 40 to 83 cm in height (birth - 15 months), and the DUALFIX iSENSE car seat, approved from 61 cm to 105 cm in height or 18 kg in weight (approx. 3 months - 4 years).

These devices can be easily attached and removed with a single click. The easily accessible release button allows you to effortlessly pick up the infant carrier on the handle.

Adjustable angle:

- In cars with an excessively inclined seat base, the child´s head might tip forward when riding in the car seat. To compensate for excessive tilting and offer the best combination of safety and comfort, the FLEX BASE iSENSE can be adjusted to six different positions.
- With the infant carriers, it is best to set the correct angle before installing the seat, while with the DUALFIX iSENSE the angle can be adjusted on the go to provide a more comfortable position when your toddler falls asleep.

Rotatable base:

- Once placed on the FLEX BASE iSENSE, all compatible seats can be turned towards the open car door so you can place and harness your child with ease.
- Whilst the recommendation is to use the DUALFIX iSENSE rearward facing for the entire range of use of the seat, that is to say up to 105 cm or 18 kg, the base can also be rotated forward travel from 15 months and 76 cm in height.

Isofix with Pivot Link:

- The Isofix arms are equipped with the Pivot Link system, patented by Britax Römer, which, in the event of an impact, directs the force first downward into the vehicle seat and then, more gently, forward. This reduces the risk of head and neck injuries.

Adjustable support leg:

- The support leg provides extra stability to the base, minimizing rotational movement in the event of an impact. For a secure installation, the support leg can be adjusted to suit the height that’s best for your car.
- An easy-to-read indicator shows whether the support leg is firmly positioned on the car floor, changing from red to black when correctly installed. Additionally, the support leg will notify you with a sound if not correctly installed.

Adjustable rebound bar:

- In addition to preventing the car seat from tilting in an impact, the rebound bar allows for greater comfort for the child, as it can be adjusted by an entire 8 degrees to provide 10% of additional leg space.

Easy to store:

- The base support leg folds up for easy storage in the car’s trunk or at home. When the support leg is folded, the safety beep is also deactivated.

Installation:

- The FLEX BASE iSENSE is installed with ISOFIX and support leg in any i-Size approved vehicle seat.

In cars without i-Size seats, it is necessary to consult the list of approved vehicles to check compatibility.
