Chicco Marsupio Hip Seat Baby Carrier

Chicco Hip Seat is the ergonomic and multifunctional baby carrier that consists of two elements in one:

a rigid base and a baby carrier.

The two parts can be used together or separately, creating 3 different products with multiple ways to wear them.

Thanks to its versatility, Chicco´s Hip Seat can meet the needs of both children and parents.


The baby carrier, with a removable support base and a back panel, ensures that the baby will be comfortable and seated in a natural position, helping to distribute the child´s weight over the parent´s torso.


The rigid base, without back support, acts as an extension of the father´s hip.

It is designed to hold the baby with one hand and help parents maintain correct posture when they want to hold the baby.


Without the base, the back panel forms a smart and traditional baby carrier, suitable for different daily needs.

The rounded edges of the rigid base, along with the padded fabric of the inserts, help parents hold and distribute baby´s weight comfortably.

The specific shape of this baby carrier is designed to ensure the correct position of the baby´s hips, back and legs so that it grows healthy (correct position of the C-shaped back and M-shaped legs).

Chicco Hip Seat is recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) as a “hip-healthy” product, ideal for carrying your baby safely and comfortably.
