The soft DRS 50 JR has been developed as a junior ski boot for young athletes. Thanks to the optionally available GripWalk Junior soles, even walking to the car is child’s play.

With a soft flex index of 50, the DRS 50 JR is the softest junior ski boot in the DRS collection. The step-in and comfort are noticeably improved by child-friendly features such as the warm Supercomfort Pro liner, three easy-to-use buckles, and the cuff with a wide opening. The optional GripWalk soles also make it particularly easy for kids to walk around and reduce the risk of slipping.

Overlap design:
2 Piece Architecture:
- For all those categories, in which a high level of power, precision and control is demanded, we built the boots with the traditional overlap construction. The architecture constists of two parts - lower shell and upper cuff - and transmits the power directly to the ski and binding. The defined flex and the traditional power-rebound enable precise control and work perfectly on groomed slopes.

Locked cuff:
- The locked cuff feature boosts rear support and minimizes rear cuff flex. Skiers find the boot is for more responsive, more powerful, and more precise.

Micro buckles:
- Permits skiers to precisely “fine tunes” buckle closure tension for a more exact fit. With micro adjustment, you can twist the buckle to make it longer or shorter.

Supercomfort pro:
- Supercomfort innerboots are engineered to achive the best comfortable fit out of the box and the best
warmth, and comfortable cushioning.

Special junior´s low profile geometry cuff:
- With it´s special dedicated construction, thickness and buckle position, the lower cuff eases the boots bending especially at younger racers.

Canting (shaft alignment):
- The pivot points allow proper flexion of the ankle, a smoother forward flex and a more natural stance. By adjusting the excentric canting screws, bootfitters/skiers can customize the best setup for every skier.

Gripwalk junior option:
- This boot is coming with the option to mount GripWalk Junior soles as an aftermarket accessory. GripWalk soles provide better grip, great walking comfort and work perfectly with the GripWalk binding without any height adjustment (due to their Touring ISO Norm 9523).
