Can your civilization prevail over the others and emerge victorious? Eclipse:Rise of the Ancients introduces several new additions to the base game:Ancient Homeworlds and Hives, Ancient Cruisers and Dreadnoughts, Unique Technologies and Developments, Warp Gates, and Alliances.

There are also four new alien races to choose from - three different ones on the front and one identical species (the Magellan) on the back of the Player boards.

This expansion is designed to be modular:you can use all of these new items, or just some of them, in any game of Eclipse, depending on your playgroup preferences and play style.

Feel free not to use individual components, if only because you don´t like them.

It also contains additional player components, allowing for a maximum of nine players in a single game.

To free up space on the game table, this box includes a more compact Supply Board that can be used instead of the one included in the base game.
