The Merhorse is closely related to the Capricorn, a half-goat, half-fish mythical beast of Ancient Greece, which is also used as a symbol for the Zodiac sign of the same name

Also known as the Hippocampus, the Merhorse is a mythical creature that is part horse and part fish. These beasts are often seen drawing the chariot of Poseidon, god of the sea.
